Lobby for California Families Tuesday, April 25 and Wednesday April 26

Help crowdfund to bring Southern California Families to Sacramento to lobby at hearings against bills like #SB426 (Community-based home visiting pilot program, Senator Pan) and #SB382 (Pest Control: mosquito abatement, Senator Pan) which undermine the unique family dynamic. Families will also continue to lobby legislators to oppose #SB18 (Bill of Rights for the Children and Youth of California: joint legislative committee, Senator Pan) as well as the resolution bill that accompanies it.

April 25 TUESDAY at 1:30 pm #SB426 Senate Human Services Committee Hearing

April 26 WEDNESDAY at 1:30 pm #SB382 Senate Health Committee Hearing

The hearings are a day apart and so an overnight stay is needed. Donate what you can so families can come up to Sacramento by plane as well as lodging costs so they can attend and testify at the hearings for both #SB426 and #SB382. In addition, families will reach out to legislators once again to lobby them to oppose #SB18 as well as the resolution bill that accompanies it. If you are not able to get up to Sacramento yourself but want to help bring YOUR message of opposition through others that can go be sure to donate what you can.

Please see our site for bills to support (19 bills!) that are #forkids and #forfamily and bills that are NOT #forkids and NOT #forfamily 2017legislation.com along with calls to action that you can do to help!
